Dr. Liz Cope obtained her DVM from Cornell University, and she then completed a competitive yearlong internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Westvet in Boise, Idaho. Since then, she has been working as an emergency veterinarian at various emergency and specialty hospitals in Utah and Maine. Her areas of interest include cardiology, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, anesthesia, and pathology.
Dr. Cope is excited to be working at Penbay Veterinary Associates. She currently lives in Waldoboro with her family which includes three lovely felines, Dusty, Mina, and Delilah, and a stubborn Scottie named Robbie. When she’s not working, you can find Dr. Cope on the water, either fishing or kayaking.
