PenBay Vets Hiring Part-time Assistant Veterinary Technician

We are looking for a part-time assistant veterinary technician to join our growing team. Initial schedule will be 20-25 hrs per week.  The successful candidate must be highly motivated, enthusiastic, personable and a team player.  Veterinary experience not necessary, we are willing to train the right person.  Important skills include:

• Multi-tasking in a fast pace enviroment
• Computer skills, such as Excel and Word a must,  and social media- Facebook a plus
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Comfortable handling large dogs, and wriggly cats
• Eager and willing to learn
• Ok with cleaning cages, doing laundry, carrying laundry up and down stairs, and walking dogs
